Where do I buy the books?

At the start of each Core Program we have a ‘Purchase Link’ and direct you to where you can purchase the book. In here we also make note of any discounts on the book and alternative formats available.

Many books are available in our Resource Shop. Booko is also often recommended. Booko is an online service that provides links to book suppliers all around the world.

If there are multiple editions of a book, you can see the ISBN (identification number) for the book in your Family Learning Plan. At the lower left corner of the image of the book click the little blue 'i' to see detailed information about the book. The ISBN can be copied and pasted to search in Booko or in other places online.

Time vs Cost note: Booko provides a time estimation for delivery or dispatch. Consider this when you purchase. If you want to receive your book quickly, it is sometimes worth a few extra dollars.

You can also source the books from our Simply Homeschool Buy Swap Sell Group and through your local library. Some libraries will purchase requested books - although you may need to ask about 6-9 months before you want to use it! We suggest you use your library for picture books such as A Year on Our Farm, Coral Sea Dreaming and Australian chapter books such as the Jackie French History Series.
