Reading is integrated throughout our programs in an organic way. As we read aloud with our children, as we write for them, as we read their writing with them, we are teaching them to read and write.
Choose books from Just Good Books to read aloud every day with your children at least until they are able to read fluently and independently. Even older children benefit from Read-Alouds. This can be a good time for in-depth discussions about complex topics that arise through quality literature.
