Mental Health for Teens
The shocking news: Teen mental health is in decline.
More than 4 in 10 (42%) students felt persistently sad or hopeless, and nearly one-third (29%) experienced poor mental health in 2021, according to the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
Our response: As parents, we all know how important good mental health is, and we want our teens to grow in this area.
The good news: Our NEW 9-week Teens Life Skills online class is open to members and non-members aged 13-17yrs.
Whether your teens have already participated in our previous class or not, this online class will help them learn new skills and develop new friendships.
Sign your teen up for 9 one-hour workshops to support their mental health.
Provide your teen with the opportunity to:
· Connect with other homeschooled teens in a live workshop each week.
· Interact with others in a monitored chat space between classes.
· Build self-regulation and resilience skills.
· Seek inspiration to build their motivation.
· Set SMART goals to develop characteristics they want to grow into.
· Play games to build relationships and communication skills.
· Design their own Vision Board.
· Discuss ‘input’ sources to build a healthy life.
· Check off our Well-Being Bingo Board to upgrade your self-care routine.
